Someone Like You

Eddie: It's over. Why can't you just let it go?
Jane: I can't.
Eddie: Why?

Jane: Because I was happy. Because if this theory is wrong, men don't leave all women, Eddie. They leave me.
Eddie: I know it hurts. I know. It's so hard to believe that something that wonderful can ever happen to us again, but it can.

Jane: Of all the things you said to me that night, the thing that scared me the most was that I would find it again. Because I have.
Jane: Will you say something?
Eddie: No.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIUX2OS2fY0

***LYRICS***
"Always Need You"
(ed cash, melissa polinar)

I.
I've made up my mind
To get tangled up with you
even though I'm undeserving
more than the sunshine
up in the great big blue
you satisfy my every yearning

like an arrow out of nowhere
you hit the center of my heart

Chorus:
your love is good
your love is real
it captures everything that I feel
I need you now
I needed you then
and I will always need you
always need you

II.
now that I'm here
everyday is new
I'm not going to look any longer
it's all so clear
everything pales to you
oh, your love just makes me stronger

like a shadow tied your heel
i'll follow wherever you go

Bridge:
I wanna climb to the top of a hill somewhere
and scream at the top of my lungs
the rain may come but I don't care
I'm gonna keep tellin' everyone that....

Mochi

I tasted it first time when our flatmate in Singapore had a visitor from Japan and gave us this green marshmallowie like bun. At first I don't want to get one because it doesn't look so appetizing to me but since kuya flatmate (let us just keep his name like that) insisted me to try it and he said it is delicious I grabbed one then took a bite. LOL! first bite I was begging kuya flatmate again if I can get two more. Ayoko nga kase! haha! :P I asked what it is called but I am not really paying attention because I just want to get two more. Just for conversation sake. Hihi! I'm not matakaw naman kase (smallest voice mode). LOL! (ang arte!)

Then, I started asking and asking my friend/roommate where to buy those and then will say again... ate! ang sarap! (sis! it is so delicious) like ten times and good thing she is patient and just smiled at me everytime. Haha!

I stayed in my friend's house in LA. She cooked me dinner and after that asked me if I want any dessert and I was like maski ano (anything). Try this one Mochi ice cream and then when I saw it I was like... it looks familiar. Then I am trying to recall where I saw it, then I remembered that's the one! What is this again? Mochi? then I got so hyper and shared to my friend that I tasted like this but its not ice cream and I didn't know there's different flavors (strawberry, vanilla & etc) and asked where she bought it. Haha! She said its the same thing, ADDICT!

Haha! And yes I am addicted to it. Actually I am eating Mochi right now while writing this! It's really addictive! :P Go and try one!

PS
Where can we buy like this in Manila? Hope its not that pricey. :/

TURON, THE YANKEE WAY

Where: Tito Rad's
4912 Queens Blvd

Flushing, NY 11377-4462
(718) 205-7299
Open Weekdays 11am-10pm; Weekends 10am-10pm
                                                         - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
MY REVIEW: My Aunt brought me there because Tito Rad's is just across where she lives and she craves for PANGA that time. I am not craving for anything but I am just looking forward for dessert.

So, yea we finished our main course then the waitress asked us if we want anything for dessert and I was like... oh yah! ting! :D then she goes... we have ice cream(nah!),leche flan (I can make better) and turon. And I was like... wow! that's new. Then I asked... mi langka? she said meron. Impressive! then my aunt got excited too then aunty goes... isa ka order nga turon (one order of turon) and i looked at our server and smiled.

After 10 or 15minutes ... I know! long wait but its worth it! I was just expecting the usual turon. A loooong one and that's it. But tahdan! it was rolled like lumpia with ice cream on the side and strawberry syrup. The presentation is like Cafe Breton. Nakakaaliw! Its really delicious with ice cream and the taste of banana and langka ... yummy! oh so delicious! you'll forget about the other desserts. haha! exage but I really liked it!

We asked our server how do they came up with that idea. She said before it was just their staff food. The staffs just wanted to eat turon so they made one and then from then on they decided to include it in their menu. Great! <3

Bravo Pinoys!

Moving Forward

excerpt from google photos
Soon I will be selling all my stuffs. It is not a sad thing but its for me, moving forward for a new chapter of my life. :) I will keep you all posted where will I upload it so you can view it and if you want something you can buy it.

I usually give out my stuffs for free. My friends & my cousins always waiting for me to clean out my closet because most of them i just used once and some still has tags on them. :D But now, I decided to sell it in a reasonable price and the money I will have is what I will use for starting a new life with him. <3 Definitely for a cause.

I will be home on 27 Oct and I'll start sorting my things and will update you as soon as possible. Till then ...

HUGS and KISSES --- moi

I Heart H&M

For a simple reason that it is not overpriced and the quality is really great. Most of their clothes are not made in China. Most clothes I bought from them are from Portugal, India and etc.

I visited H&M in San Diego, LA and New York City . I don't like the H&M in Plaza Bonita, San Diego. Thanks to my ever reliable friends and cousins that always bring me to top of the list shopping malls. My friend brought me last year in Americana, Glendale. They said its the new mall in the area and H&M store is big there. Yahoo! As my friend say it - kakabaliw sa daming mabibili! (makes you go crazy because there's a lot  to buy). And its true! no wonder why we are friends... I went crazy as well! haha!

The Americana Mall is really beautiful. Oh ya! I'll just write a review about the malls I visited in California. :) Since I was with my dad the last time I was in the states, we visited different outlet stores/ shopping malls everyday! and stay there the whole day! No exaggeration!!! Nakakabored! :/
H&M (Americana, Glendale)

Anyway, back to H&M. :P I also liked the H&M store in Fashion Island in New Port Beach, CA. It is a big store also but not as big as in Americana because its a 2 floors.

New Port Beach, CA
In Manhattan, H&M is in every corner but my favorite store is in East 42nd St. Two floors and they always has the latest items and their on SALE clothes are always perfect! Last week I bought this dress in 5th Ave then the next day when I went to 42nd St., it was on SALE! urgh!

Happy Shopper @ 42nd St

For me, it is a cheap version of Zara and Forever 21 but a quality one. <3 I do like Forever 21 but I find it overpriced and if you'll buy printed one with a pricey tag ... there are big chances you'll see someone wearing the same clothes you are wearing. Cheese Luis! that's a no-no! plus the fact that we only have one forever 21 store in the Philippines. I just can't wait for H&M to have a store in the Philippines, if I will still be happy with their pricing & the quality of the clothes they will sell.

Hmmm... :D

23 Sept 2010

Dear Diary,

It was sunny, busy Thursday. I am fixing my things for my trip to New York and visit my Aunt for a while before I go back Manila. I am not expecting anything that day but Mike called me at around 1pm and asked me if I am cooking for dinner and I told him that I can but our fridge is empty. He told me he'll call me back again. So, put down the phone and continue what I was doing.

Ring...ring... then Mike goes: Sweetheart, we are booked at 6pm. We will have a dinner date. You still have four hours to get ready. And I was like... We will dress up? yes. you can dress up. Yey!

Mike came home earlier than the usual and he dress up also for our dinner. He gave me chocolates.  Awww and those are my favorites. When we arrived at L'Venia, we chose to have dinner outside. It was really romantic because we saw the sunset and cold breeze kissing our cheeks.

We had like a bar-b-q nachos salad for our starter and I give high five for that. It is really yummy! Plus the freshly baked bread with that amazing Italian sauce. For our main menu we had steak but I forgot what exactly we ordered. We have it on medium well and for the dessert we had double chocolate. Haha! I forgot exactly the names... Ang sarap kase!!!

It was a happy, simple dinner. It is our little get together for Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year... since we will be far away from each other. :/
